New Wineries In Maryland Opened This Summer

Maryland wine industry is growing, growing, and growing some more.  Five more wineries opened over the spring and summer this year.  Turkey Point Vineyard (North East, MD) and Clovelly Vineyard (Chestertown, MD) join the Eastern Shore vineyards.   Harmony Vineyards and Winery (Parkton, MD) has been in the industry for quite some time growing grapes. Now they are making wine too.  Montgomery County has a new addition, Rockland Farm Winery and Market (Poolesville, MD).  Rockland Farm may sound familiar to some because of the produce and other products they offer.  Now they also make wine.  Springfield Manor Winery and Distillery (Thurmont, MD) is an exciting new addition in Frederick, MD.Penn Live's Paul Vigna writes about Maryland's great new additions  check out his blog: http://blog.pennlive.com/wine/2014/08/maryland_wineries_description_of_most_recent_five_to_open.html
