Minutes away from Washington, DC, the Seneca Creek Region is a retreat from the fast-paced city life. Seneca Creek Region is nestled in the Piedmont plateau of Maryland located in Upper Montgomery County. This region has unique microclimates that produce premium fruit and high-quality wines. The Seneca Creek Region vineyards and wineries offer local varietals like Chambourcin, Petit Manseng, and Vidal Blanc. Traditional French grapes like Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Verdot, and Merlot are in the tasting rooms. Wine styles range from Bordeaux-style red blends to unfiltered white wines. Windridge Vineyard, Rocklands Farm Winery, Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard, and the Urban Winery are some of the places Vino 301 visits.

Tanger National Harbor 2nd Annual Fall Wine Tasting, on November 8, 2024, in partnership with Vino 301 and The Wine Concierge, will be held in the

Food Truck Plaza from 3 PM - 6 PM (6800 Oxon Hill Road National Harbor, MD 20745)

Kick off the weekend with a selection of wines, food trucks and music. Live entertainment from Bobby McKey's Dueling piano show - the Best Dueling Piano Show in the DC area.

For $20 guests will receive six sampling tickets, commemorative wine glass and offers from Tanger stores.

For $5, nondrinking guests will receive the commemorative wine glass and store offers. Individual wine pours and commemorative glasses will also be available for purchase separately at the event.

Must be 21 years old or older to purchase tickets. Tickets are void if under 21 years old.

Westminster Wine Region

This region is home to Maryland’s largest wineries. It produces high-quality wine that has a distinctive character, body, and color. Its awarding-winning Chardonnays are known for its big, rich buttery character. This mix of old and new can be found in vineyards in this region. Some of the vineyards we visit are Links Bridge Vineyard, Big Cork Vineyard, Windridge Vineyards, Black Ankle Vineyard, Springfield Manor, Catoctin Breeze, Hidden Hills Vineyard, New Market Plains, and Linganore Wine Cellars.
