Seneca Creek Wine Region -Minutes away from Washington, DC, the Seneca Creek Region is a retreat from the fast-paced city life. Seneca Creek Region is nestled in the Piedmont plateau of Maryland located in Upper Montgomery County. This region has unique microclimates that produce premium fruit and high-quality wines.  The Seneca Creek Region vineyards and wineries offer local varietals like Chambourcin, Petit Manseng, and Vidal Blanc. Traditional French grapes like Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Verdot, and Merlot are in the tasting rooms.  Wine styles range from Bordeaux-style red blends to unfiltered white wines.  Windridge Vineyard, Rocklands Farm Winery, Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard, and the Urban Winery are some of the places Vino 301 visits.
