Apple Cider Fall Cocktails
Cider can be served with a meal or as an aperitif. Dry ciders can be served slightly chilled and semi-dry ciders should be served chilled. They are also good as a base for cocktails.
We created fall cocktails recipes using Orchid Cellars Meadery & Winery Lumberjack Apple Cider for our recipes. This cider is not alcohol free. It has flavors of baked apples, spice clove, honey and low in acid. Here is our salute to fall.

Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love being outside and all of the fall sports. This apple cider recipe evokes memories of the things I love, like my big wonderful Southern family, football and tailgating.
- 4 oz Bourbon
- 1 cup of apple cider
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- Caramel sauce (to taste)
Fill a shaker with ice
Add Bourbon, apple cider, and lemon juice to shaker
Shake Bourbon mixture
Pour caramel along the cocktail glass rim. Caramel will drip in the glass.
Dip the glass rim in sugar
Pour Bourbon mixture in the glass
Note: You can add caramel to the Bourbon mixture instead of rimming the cocktail glass.
