2016 Maryland Passport Experience Guided Tour FAQs 

Vino 301 is participating in the 2016 Passport Experience. The Passport Experience sound like a fun thing to do, but you still have questions?  We are happy to answer your questions.   Here are some answers to questions you may have. 
  • What comes with your Passport ticket?  Ticket holders will be privy to a free wine tasting and  behind-the-scene experience at each winery, a commemorative wine glass and 10% off all bottles that are just too good to leave without.  It also gets you discounts and promotions to several local attractions, hotels, restaurants and shopping centers so you may fully immerse yourself in all that each region has to offer.

 

  • How often can I use the Passport ticket?  You can use the Passport on all four days.

 

  • How much is Passport ticket? $25.00 per person. You buy your Passport ticket directly from the  Maryland Wine Passport Experience.   The ticket grants you access to all participating vineyards and wineries over both weekends.

 

  • Will I have to buy a Passport ticket and Vino 301 ticket?  Yes.

 

  • What is the difference between the Passport ticket and Vino 301 ticket?  Passport ticket is your tasting pass.  The ticket grants you access to all participating vineyards and wineries over both weekends. Vino 301 is your transportation and guided tour pass.

 

  • What do I get with the Vino 301 ticket? 
    • Transportation to ALL 6 wine trails
    • Knowledgeable and fun Tour Ambassador & driver
    • Light snacks & beverages

 

  • Does Vino 301 have weekend passes?  Yes.  You can buy a single day or weekend pass.

 

  • Can you mix trail passes when you purchase a Vino 301 weekend pass? Yes.  For example,  you can go along the Patuxent Wine Trail on Saturday and Chesapeake Wine Trail on Sunday.

 

  • How long is the Vino 301 wine tour? 12 noon – 6 pm

 

  • Will Vino 301 go to all 6 Wine Trails?  Yes

 

  • Where are the pick up locations?

  • What time should I arrive at the pick up location? We recommend arriving at the pick location between 11:00 am and 11:30 am.  You can begin your tasting at the first location before we depart to the other vineyards.  We will be departing at 12:00 noon.

Hard Rock Offers New, Limited-Time Menu Items through February 14 and Wine and Chocolate Pairing on February 13

BALTIMORE, MD, February 5, 2015 – Celebrate the day of love one day early at Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore! On Friday, February 13, 2015, Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore gives guests the ultimate Valentine’s Day experience with Wine & Chocolate Tasting, presented by Vino 301. From 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. guests will learn to swirl, sniff and sip with the best of them, while enjoying decadent chocolates paired with wine. A Vino 301 Wine concierge will lead guests through a wine tasting and chocolate pairing, with a variety of wine from local Maryland wineries and decadent chocolates provided by Baltimore’s own Parfections who will be on site to sell chocolates as well. 

 

Additionally, beginning Monday, February 9, through Sunday, February 14, Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore will offer a Valentine’s Day menu created exclusively for the occasion! Diners will enjoy a brand new trio of sharable appetizers including Spinach & Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms, Balsamic Tomato Bruschetta and Fire Grilled Sweet & Sticky Chicken Skewers.The cafe will also feature “I Got a Crush on You” beverage options, including Dreaming Tree Crush wine and Hidden Crush Chardonnay wine. For an even sweeter ending to date night, guests can indulge with Hard Rock’s limited-edition Donut Lollipops – vanilla doughnut holes filled with creamy New York cheese cake and served with a side of hand crafted peanut brittle and warm caramel sauce.

About Vino 301, Wine Concierge

 Vino 301 Wine Concierge is based in Bowie, MD. The company provides guided wine tours to many of Maryland’s vineyards and wineries.  They provide transportation to and from wineries and guests are able to enjoy wine tasting and tours of the vineyard or facilities.  Guests receive a collectible wine and light snack during the tour. Tour guests spend a relaxing afternoon experiencing Maryland’s wine culture.  Often, the tour guests can meet the winemakers during the tours.  It is an invaluable experience, to hear about the wine process from the actual winemaker.


 

Vino 301 Wine Concierge’s first tour was in April 2013.  Since that time, they have given tours to over 400 people in its first year.  The wine tours going to Baltimore-Harford counties, southern Maryland, and Frederick and Carroll Counties wineries.  Vino 301 wine tours are ideal for friends to get together and enjoy wine.  Many people book group tours for birthdays, corporate outings, or even bachorelette parties.
