2014 Maryland Governor’s Cup Winners Announced
Bordeleau Vineyards and Winery wins best in show for their Cabernet Sauvignon Amarone 2008. The Maryland Governor’s Cup is held each year judging which is the best wines in Maryland. “For the past few years, the Governor himself has presented the award at the Maryland Wine Festival in September”, according to the Maryland Wine Association. Several of the vineyards Vino 301 visits won gold, silver and bronze medals. Vineyards such as, Old Westminster Winery, Black Ankle Vineyard, Perigeaux Vineyard, and Harford Vineyard are among the winners.
